Review on Spice Quarter
Spice Quarter is a modern Indian restaurant located on the first floor of the Old Brewery Quarter in Cardiff city centre, close to the Millennium Stadium, St David's shopping centre and Cardiff Queen Street Railway Station. The tastefully decorated restaurant has an inviting contemporary style, with well spaced tables and a glass fronted kitchen where you can watch the chefs at work.
The chefs have all been recruited from luxury five star hotels in Delhi and Bombay and each have their own speciality of cooking style and taste from the many diverse regions of India. There are no artificial additives or lurid red colourings here, the kitchen uses freshly ground spices and top-notch raw materials, sourced locally where possible for their dishes. For starters why not choose one of their popular platters such as the spice feast platter consisting of succulent tandoori lamb chops, tandoori baby chicken, salmon tikka and jingha jaffarani before a main course of jhinga lasooni, jumbo king prawns marinated in a rich blend of saffron and hung yoghurt cooked to perfection in the tandoor.
