Since opening in 2001, this neighbourhood Indian has won lots of friends and is now a prized local asset. It's situated in the centre of town, a short stroll from the bridge, and the spacious first-floor dining room is done out in pleasing contemporary style (not much sign of flock wallpaper here).

The kitchen works to a menu of well-tried curry house standards: here you will find a full quota of dhansaks, biryanis and tandooris, bolstered by plus a few distinctive regional specialities. Flavours are authentic and prices are fair.
