A short drive from Clonakilty in the out-of-the-way village of Ring, Deasy's has made a name for itself over the years with simply cooked fresh seafood and great views. Gaze over the Bay from the decking area out front, or grab one of the window seats in the nautically-themed, brick-walled dining room.

Inspiration comes from far and wide: the kitchen sends out everything from crab cakes with wasabi mayonnaise, seafood spring rolls with Vietnamese dipping sauce to monkfish wrapped in prosciutto and more besides. There are steaks and a few vegetarian options for those who don't fancy fish, while desserts such as lime and coconut cheesecake bring proceedings to a pleasing conclusion.
