Review on Palm Court Brasserie
The Palm Court Brasserie is right in the hub of the Covent Garden restaurant scene, this bright brasserie is a useful pit stop among the shops and sightseeing attractions. As the name suggests, the interior has been decked out in quasi 'palm court' style adding a touch of exoticism to proceedings.
The menu covers a lot of ground, taking in its share of brasserie staples like 'moules and frites' and rosemary-crusted rack of lamb with grilled aubergine, veering off into the true Brit world of salmon fishcakes and pleasing the masses with all kinds of burgers made from organic beef. To finish, there might be Seville orange and polenta cake or chocolate and pecan brownie.
This is a great venue for theatregoers, with special all-in packages on offer; there's also live piano music Thursday to Saturday evenings.
