For some 15 years, the Banana Leaf has been providing a taste of genuine South Indian cooking for the citizens of Croydon. The restaurant is within walking distance of the railway stations and it's definitely worth the stroll.

The kitchen does a few curry house stalwarts, but it's worth by-passing these in favour of the chef's specialities. Masala dosai are one of the highlights, there is plenty for vegetarians (and vegans) and it pays to be adventurous.
