Review on Da Remo
Da Remo is set in the delightful rural village of Denham in Buckinghamshire, minutes from the A40 Oxford Road. The building complete with dark wooden beams and a traditional décor is over 300 years old and takes its name from its owner, who has run the restaurant since August 1988.
This stalwart restaurant has established itself as a neighbourhood favourite, serving traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine the kitchen makes excellent use of fresh local farm ingredients. Why not start with scallops cooked with ginger, spring onions and white wine or maybe the beef carpaccio, rocket lettuce and shaved parmesan cheese with citronette sauce. Main courses bring on board dishes such as venison escalopes with green pepper corn, touch of cream and Chianti or for fish lovers there's grilled whole fresh sea bass served on or off the bone. Make sure you leave room for one of their indulgent desserts from the trolley. Italian varietals dominate the wine list, but the selection includes a healthy mix from other regions.
