The sleepy Derbyshire village of Etwall is the setting for the delightful Blenheim House Hotel and restaurant. A popular stopping-off point for business travellers, holidaymakers visiting the attractions of the Peak District and loyal locals, this inviting hotel can cater for any dining occasion whether it be a working lunch, a quick bite, a corporate event or a more formal three-course dinner.

The main restaurant with its exposed wooden beams, contemporary art adorning the walls and muted shades exudes a calm ambience allowing you to enjoy the modern British and European cuisine. There are many original features including a 17th century bread oven, range cooker and original beamed ceilings. With its contemporary decorations the room has a modern feel and has been sympathetically restored.

The kitchen is renowned for its broadly based approach and unfussy dishes, ranging from fillet steak to a rack of lamb. Starters might take in Cornish sardines or roasted pepper and artichoke salad, while old faithfuls such as creme brulee, chocolate tart or fruit crumbles round things off.
