Review on The Flying Fish Restaurant
With stunning sea views out across the Atlantic ocean and Cornish coastline, the award winning Flying Fish restaurant in Cornwall's bustling Falmouth offers a stylish and contemporary dining experience to seafood lovers.
The kitchen team pride themselves on a quintessentially Cornish menu - a dedication which won the restaurant the Gold Award for 'Cornish Distinctiveness' in 2007. The food is locally sourced from Cornish fishermen and farmers to ensure freshness and quality. As expected, the cuisine on offer is primarily seafood with delicacies such as handline caught wild sea bass with Falmouth Bay mussels, puy Lentils, fine beans and saffron cream. However, there are some meat and vegetarian dishes such as Cornish sirloin steak with chips, and risotto with butternut squash and Cornish blue cheese. Not to be missed is the cheese board which offers a fine selection of unusual local cheeses.
