Review on Rudding Park Hotel, Clocktower Restaurant
A beautiful family estate of the Mackaness family since 1972, Rudding Park has undergone extensive investment to upgrade the building, keeping its traditional characteristics and charm, to become Yorkshire's Premier Hotel and Golf Resort.
The Clocktower restaurant maintains the same stylish elegance with a modern twist. Bench sofas line the far wall and are surrounded by high backed fabric covered chairs, nestled under wooden tables decorated with a simple arrangement of crisp napkins and shimmering cutlery and glassware. Mid-height alcoves are converted into picture-style accessories, which are painted in vivid reds and greens and illuminate single stemmed flowers.
The Internationally inspired cuisine is prepared fresh to order and uses the finest local and seasonal produce to create dishes served throughout the day in the restaurant, bar or on the terrace. Special menus are also available throughout the year to offer gourmet dining, traditional British puddings, and al fresco barbecues. Reservations are highly recommended.
