Review on Oak Room Restaurant, Tylney Hall
Tylney Hall is a magnificent Country House Hotel located within unspoilt Hampshire Countryside, Tylney Hall caters for everyone and its award winning Oak Room Restaurant is a traditional oak panelled dining room, with a baby Grand Piano softly playing in the back ground. The restaurant offers diners a fantastic A La Carte Menu complimented by an extensive wine cellar and attentive, yet discreet, service.
During the summer months an equally mouth-watering lounge/poolside menu can be selected by those wishing to dine "Al Fresco" on Tylney Hall's beautiful terrace - a vista surrounded by Wellatonian trees, and a landscape that leads the eye past magnificent lawns to the distant yonder. After a stroll around the gardens at Tylney Hall, a pre dinner drink at sunset on the terrace is what summer in the English countryside is all about.
Stephen Hine (Head Chef) has been with the company for more than 20 years and uses only the freshest and finest produce to create his dishes. All produce is bought locally, where possible, and one of the restaurant's seasonal dishes includes New Season Hampshire Lamb.
So whether you choose the Oak Room Restaurant, the open-air Terrace, or one of Tylney Hall's 12 Conference rooms, you will always be offered a delicious array of dishes, and a fabulous service. If you can find an excuse to stay the night you'll find that Breakfast is world class!
