Four members of the Doull family own and run this spick-and-span modern hotel, which benefits from panoramic sea views over Scapa Flow and the southern islands of Orkney.
Chef Paul offers three-course dinners based around reliable supplies of Orkney beef and lamb, as well as an array of local seafood including lobsters, scallops and organic Westray salmon. To finish, Foveran's Orkney fudge cheesecake has earned itself something of a national reputation.
