Review on The Knightsbridge Metro
The Knightsbridge Metro, little sister to the nearby Capital, is a personally run, French-themed hotel, a discreet bolthole down a side street between Harrods and Harvey Nicks. It's the perfect pit-stop for footsore shoppers indulging in a day's retail therapy - with or without the kids.
The brasserie is open for leisurely breakfasts and lunch, catering for all tastes and preferences. So expect favourites like twice-baked cheese soufflé, fishcakes and shepherd's pie alongside duck spring rolls with chilli jam, pasta and blackened salmon with coleslaw and soy dressing, followed by lemon tart or bread-and-butter pudding.
