Review on Three Horseshoes Inn, The Brasserie
The award-winning Three Horseshoes Inn, with its creeper-clad facade and cosy atmosphere, is like a home from home, complete with beautifully landscaped gardens and stunning views over the Staffordshire moorlands, Tittesworth Reservoir and the weird rock formations of The Roaches.
As well as the option of drinking at the bar, diners have three dining options to choose from under the same roof. For fine dining in relaxed, laid-back surroundings (complete with an open kitchen, wok cooking and a large oak-trussed ceiling), the Brasserie offers an excellent range of modern and traditional dishes with eclectic overtones and hints of the orient here and there.
The Pub & Carvery offers traditional roast meats and home-cooked dishes amid beams and log fires, while Kirk's Restaurant is used for formal functions, special themed evenings and Sunday lunches. Wherever you choose to dine, there is an excellent choice of beers and an impressive 200-strong wine list to accompany your meal.
