Review on Chantrey’s Restaurant at The Imperial Hotel
Part of Llandudno's imposing Victorian seafront, this landmark hotel really looks the part with its grand white façade and glass-fronted entrance. Guests can sit out on the terrace and admire the view, while the interior has been given a few contemporary touches to lighten the mood.
Formal meals are served in Chantrey's Restaurant, where the menu offers a decent selection of modern dishes pointed up with native Welsh ingredients. Typical options could include crab cakes with tartare sauce, walnut and laverbread roulade stuffed with leeks, and tapenade-crusted roast lamb. To finish, expect things like fig Bakewell tart with apricot sabayon.
