Review on Royal Nawaab
Royal Nawaab a small chain of Indian restaurants opened their Levenshulme branch in the City of Manchester in January 2002. Housed in a unique building it has had a colourful history which includes being an Art Deco cinema, a bingo hall and a ten pin bowling alley. Nowadays the exterior has been transformed to its former glory, while inside the buzzing vast dining room is a modern and smart affair
Unlike its siblings, Royal Nawaab Manchester is a buffet restaurant and diners can choose from a vast array of dishes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. There are selections of salads, starters such as fish masala, seekh kebabs, onion bajis, vegetable spring rolls and main courses include such classics as dahls, dopiazas, vegetable dishes, kormas, butter chicken, and their house special award winning creamy Niralli. There's a good selection of Indian desserts to finish including cake and ice cream.
The restaurant has a no alcohol policy but the bar serves an excellent selection of refreshing fruit drinks.
