Steak & Lobster is set within the elegant Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex hotel, close to Marble Arch and a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the shops in Oxford Street. Looking eminently chic with luxurious leather armchairs and stylish sofas, featuring original artwork on the the walls, it offers a welcome and relaxing retreat.
The name of the restaurant says it all when in comes to the menu, you can choose a 10oz rib eye steak cooked to your preference or a whole lobster served grilled or steamed accompanied with garlic and chive butter, unlimited French fries and a mixed salad. They also offer a vegetarian option in the shape of sage roasted squash and Italian hard cheese risotto with truffle oil. There's tasty nibbles such as onion rings with a garlic and chive dip, chicken frites with chorizo aioli and prawn and lobster cakes with a lime and coriander dressing. When it comes to desserts enjoy a chocolate cheesecake or maybe opt for the knickerbocker glory.
Steak & Lobster like to keep things simple as well when it comes to the wine list, with a handful of reds and whites selected daily from their collection. They also have an extensive range of cocktails including signature offerings such as Yorkshire Czarina, Skyy vodka, rhubarb and rosehip cordial, fresh strawberries finished with Prosecco or chestnut and ginger sour, Chivas Regal 12 year, chestnut syrup, egg white, ginger bitters.
