A fixture of the Moycullen dining scene for more than 15 years, Kevin and Ann Dunne’s restaurant has a distinctly clubby lounge with dark panelled walls and shiny leather sofas. This is the perfect gathering point before moving to the main dining room, where low lights, candles and exposed stonework help to create a leisurely, laid-back mood.
Meat comes from sound Irish sources and might appear as roast rack of lamb with matchstick potatoes or grilled fillet steak with béarnaise sauce; lobsters are kept in a seawater tank, while other traditional fishy delights could include scallops Mornay or monkfish with garlic butter. Homemade ice creams and familiar desserts complete the picture.
