The Weinhaus Neuner which is right next to Stachus is the oldest wine bar in Munich. It is more than one hundred years old. You can sit under the wonderful vaulted ceilings in the large dining hall or the somewhat smaller, modern and elegantly restored lounge which is used for functions. The menu offers a range of dishes from carpaccio made from yellow fin tuna fish to Viennese Schnitzel. The cuisine at the Neuner Weinhaus is stylish and creative, and it also looks very appetising. The iced desserts also deserve a mention. They are on a par with a gelaterie. The restaurant can also cater for functions for up to 100 people. The ?Stüberl? (small room) can accommodate up to 45 people. Be sure to have one of the selected wines to go with your meal.
