The Piz Gloria Restaurant revolving restaurant best known for its starring role in the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, is situated on the peak of the Schilthorn, high above Mürren and the Lauterbrunnen Valley. It takes 32 minutes to reach the summit by cable car where you can enjoy the 360° panoramic view taking 55 minutes of the Bernese Alps, from the trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau nearby, to the more distant peaks. The restaurant offers an a la carte menu as well as seasonal specialities, together with a menu featuring Indian dishes that has to be reserved 48 hours in advance.
