A handy choice for authentic Japanese food in Norwich, this modern, cool, uncluttered place is tucked away in cobbled Tombland and you can enjoy a spot of people watching under the trees if the weather allows.
An excellent selection of freshly prepared sushi from the counter is one of the high points, and the choice of fish extends to yellowfin tuna, salmon, prawns eel and the like. The kitchen also deals in chicken yakitori, gyoza dumplings and other classic appetisers, along with tempura, salmon teriyaki, curious (but authentic) Japanese curries and breadcrumbed tonkatsu dishes. All-in-one bento boxes are great value for money at lunchtime. Drink tea and saké.
