Review on Grapevine Bistro
The Grapevine Bistro is a charming double-fronted, bow-windowed property, run by Andrew Lund and his daughter Katie in the historic village of Odiham in Hampshire. With a cosy interior, the restaurant has wooden floors and is decked out in a palette of terracotta and saffron.
The kitchen runs in tandem with the seasons and there's a real dedication to locally sourced produce. Typical starters that appear on the menu could be leek scotch egg with Dijon sauce or maybe twice baked cheese soufflé with a mustard dressing. Main courses take in pork fillet with Madeira jus, slow-cooked shoulder of lamb or hake with tomato and coriander fricassee. When it comes to desserts you might see white chocolate cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding with ice cream.
