Culinary delights in a former children's home. Tanja and Philipp Wolter are a gastronomic duo who make their guests feel very welcome. The Landhaus Spatzenhof offers a range of local and international cuisine and a great selection of wine. The restaurant has undergone refurbishment but great care has been taken to preserve the original features of the building. Modern additions include light and dark tables, discreet décor, beautiful flower arrangements and romantic candlelight. The cookery classes and the open-view kitchen are both fabulous. New as of December: the 'Clara von Krüger' gourmet restaurant, which does honour to the architect of the Spatzenhof.
