Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx is the fine dining restaurant housed in the Mandarin Oriental Paris on fashionable rue Saint-Honoré, just steps away from the Louvre. The restaurant has a stark minimalist décor designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku with walls and ceiling draped in a cloud of white fabric, white leather seating is set against tables dressed in crisp white linen, a blank canvas for the artfully displayed dishes.
Awarded two prestigious Michelin stars, Thierry Marx creates exquisite dishes dedicated to precise 'tailor-made' (sur mesure) cuisine using a scientific approach, blending tradition with innovation. There are two tasting menus of either six or nine courses on offer featuring dishes such as structured & restructured cauliflower, pressed foie gras, yuzu and sake and scallops, green apple and celery. When it comes to desserts you might see confit apple, puff pastry " à la crème fraiche " or caramelized banana, rhum and cinnamon.
