Review on Helene Darroze
The Hélène Darroze restaurant is situated in the heart of Paris, not far from the Jardin du Luxembourg. With a contemporary décor of burgundy and orange tones, set against a rich wood floor, this Michelin starred restaurant serves delicious cuisine from the southwest region of France. Menus reflect the seasons and you will find the likes of scallops, truffles, duck and goose foie gras paired with exotic ingredients for unusual culinary creations. There is a well chosen wine list that has its share of great classics, as well as some more modern youngbloods.
The downstairs Salon offers a more informal and less expensive dining option serving a variety of tapas as well as some of the dishes from the first floor dining room.
