Le Bar a Huitres Ternes is a seafood restaurant and oyster bar in Ternes, Paris close to the famous Arc de Triomphe and it is one of four such restaurants in the city. The décor is dedicated to the sea with walls and huge columns covered in shells and all kinds of pictures on the walls relating to the sea.

Taking centre stage in the restaurant is a huge live lobster tank. There is also a fantastic Oyster Bar where you can stop for some delicious plump oysters that are delivered fresh from the coasts of Brittany and Normandy. At Bar a Huitres, your meal comes straight from the sea to your plate. If a fish on the menu isn't available. . . it's because the fishermen weren't able to catch it! There is a large variety of fish that could be on the menu on any given day such as sea bass, turbot, sole, scallops, clams, prawns mussels and the list goes on!
