Review on Villa Spicy
Villa Spicy is located in the heart of Paris, just a short stroll from the Champs Elysées in the 8th arrondissement. The former Spicy restaurant was completely refurbished in 2007 by designers Roland Le Bevillon and Maurice Savinel in the style of a Mediterranean villa. This modern sunny restaurant has a lovely terrace surrounded by trees where you can dine during the warmer months.
Chef Pascal Jounault has composed a menu that combines Mediterranean flavours and spices with Southern accents. Menus change with the seasons and all products are sourced from ethical and authentic suppliers and the restaurant takes a proactive engagement in sustainable development. Look for starters of thin sliced organic tomato with "Burrata Pugliese" mozzarella and pesto or Caesar salad and Parmesan Reggiano cheeses before mains of organic sea bass with lime, ginger, and fennel marmalade, finishing with Brioche, honey and lavender blossom ice cream with caramel sauce. An organic detox menu is offered each day which uses organic, detoxifying and anti-oxidant ingredients. On Sundays their Brunch menu is very popular while the children enjoy being entertained by the clown. There is an excellent wine list featuring wines from the Southern hemisphere, Chile, South Africa, Uruguay, Australia as well as a good selection from Bordeaux.
