Set in the heart of the outstandingly beautiful Surrey Hills, yet only 55 minutes from central London and halfway between Gatwick and Heathrow, the Hurtwood Inn has stood at the heart of the perfect English village of Peaslake since 1920. With 21 rooms The Hurtwood Inn Hotel and restaurant which was formerly called Oscars, is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside.

The bright and stylish restaurant offers a gourmet experience from an exciting and imaginative range of menus together with a wide selection of fine wines. Kick off with perhaps a salmon and smoked haddock fishcake with chive and lemon beurre blanc or breast of pigeon with wild mushrooms, roasted beetroot and spinach before the likes of roast fillet of pork with grain mustard mash, bacon and rhubarb and apple jam or a 28 day aged sirloin steak with flat mushroom, vine tomatoes, watercress and hand cut chips.
