Review on Rocamar
An old stager on the Port d'Andratx dining scene, Rocamar has been around since the 60's and is still in the same family, the Calafells with Toni Calafell manning the stoves he has become something of a renowned expert on the subject of cooking fish and seafood. The place is right on the beach with stunning views of the harbour and four different dining areas, inside and out.
Fish is the name of the game and it comes in all shapes and sizes. Mixed seafood platters, lobster stews, fish casseroles, cod croquets, marinated salmon, clams in green sauce, sole, turbot, lobsters from the tank or cod carpaccio, you name it and carnivores may want to tuck into the roast suckling pig with apple sauce.
The Spanish wine list yields a few local wines for the occasion.
