Review on Crudo
Crudo the younger sibling of Dunne & Crescenzi's renowned 'entocea italiana' in South Frederick Street, Dublin is run along very similar lines to the original and is the real deal as far as 'soulful' Italian food is concerned. It's totally unpretentious, affordable and full of happy people enjoying plates of food and superb wines right through the day.
There's nothing fancy about the place and the menu is as flexible as they come: here you will find panini, charcuterie, salads, pastas, one or two more substantial blackboard specials, plus a few genuine desserts to round things off.
D&C is renowned for its auspicious all-Italian wine list, which runs to some 130 bins from regional vineyards across the entire mainland. Don't leave without browsing the shelves of gorgeous Italian foodstuffs for sale.
