Review on Gauthier Soho
After more than ten years at the Michelin starred Roussillon, French Chef Alexis Gauthier and sommelier Roberto della Pietra moved from Pimlico to this elegant Soho townhouse on Romilly Street and called it Gauthier Soho. Surrounded by West End theatres and bars, Gauthier Soho is split into an airy first floor dining room and ground floor wine shop and cellar.
The menu celebrates classic French techniques in refined, seasonal dishes with a particular focus on vegetarian options which are one of Gauthier's specialities. With flawless service and over 400 French wines to choose from, this restaurant is ideal for laid-back lunches, romantic dinners and pre-theatre suppers.
