Review on Ca's Xorc
With stunning views and surrounded by gardens and olive groves, Ca's Xorc is set in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range and the building, an old olive mill dates back to the 18th century. Now it's a small hotel and it showcases some exceptional cooking.
Head Chef Guillermo Moya Igarza produces refined Majorcan and Mediterranean cuisine. At lunch time choose perhaps the 'Bistro' menu, a small but exquisite selection of Mediterranean dishes including, maybe, the famous 'Paella Ca's Xorc' as well as a few starters and a fish and meat main dish. Or, go for the 'Surprise Menu', a 3-course Chef's Choice menu including beverages which is available at lunch and dinner time. Things take on an even more serious note in the evenings with the special tasting menu of six courses or choose from the evening a la carte menu. A selection of top drawer Mallorcan wines is supported by others from Spain and around the world.
To find Ca's Xorc take the road from Soller to Deia and at mile-stone 56.1 take a left turn, after 800 meters you will see the parking area on your left-hand side.
