Review on Restaurante Ca’l Bisbe
At the first roundabout in Soller, coming from Palma, there's a sign to Hotel Ca’l Bisbe and the car park which is about 300 metres away, but that's as near as you can get; the rest is on foot. You are about 200 metres from the centre of Soller and this is a charming, family run restaurant. With the appetite sharpened after the brief walk settle in for some hearty traditional Mallorcan cuisine.
A bonanza of Mediterranean flavours is what you can expect starting perhaps along the line of cod salad with 'Tapenade' of black olives and anchovies or carpaccio of monkfish and salmon with raspberry vinaigrette. Local fish features strongly or try the fried suckling lamb chops with garlic. Desserts include almond cake with ice cream, apple cake 'Tatin' and crema Catalana.
There is an extensive wine list of Spanish and particularly Mallorcan wines.
