Review on Blakes Restaurant, Blakes Hotel
Nestled beneath the gloriously couture Blakes Hotel one of London's greatest gastronomic secrets hides in subterranean splendour, Blakes Restaurant and it is not just for guests since Blakes has become, over the course of more than three decades, a destination in itself. Serving cuisine that has been designed by Anouska Hempel with as much attention to detail as her architectural projects, and over the years, it is refined and perfected.
With delicate influences from the Orient and Asia to the decadent indulgences of Europe, each item on the menu entices the senses. On few menus in the world would Sashimi sit so comfortably next to a huge Blini crowned with smoked Salmon and Caviar. Like the immaculate room in which it is served, the cuisine reflects the tastes and travels of Anouska Hempel and every guest leaves with a treasured experience.
