Review on Salford Hall Hotel, Stanford Restaurant
Salford Hall has stood since 1470 and in its rather varied past it has existed as an Abbott's retreat, a school, and since 1989 a hotel. Today, visitors cannot resist the attraction of Salford Hall's beautiful grounds that offer an oasis of tranquillity amongst the Worcestershire countryside, and an ideal place to escape to from the rat race.
The Stanford Restaurant oozes with traditional character, with its oak-panelled walls, mullioned windows and a roaring open fire that creates a particularly warm and inviting ambience in the winter months. Their Head Chef produces an interesting and varied modern British menu, placing much reliance on fresh, locally sourced produce.
An alternative casual dining experience is available in the Refectory, a contemporary conservatory serving coffee, light lunches, Afternoon teas and great value evening dinners.
