Review on Barrica Tapas Bar

Barrica is an award winning Spanish tapas bar located on Goodge Street founded by wine importer Tim Luther. The narrow restaurant is a vibrant venue with tall stools set against the marble topped bar, Jamóns hanging from the ceiling, canary yellow walls and dark wood furniture set on the black and white chequered flooring.

The recipient of a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2013 Barrica serves a fantastic selection of well-priced authentic tapas, as well as over twenty sherries and an excellent wine menu of some 100 bins, with a focus on Spain. Typical offerings that appear on the menu are salmon ahumado y grosellas, oak grilled salmon and gooseberry cooked on the charcoal grill, tostada de anchoa salted anchovy on toast and croquetas de Jamon, ham croquettes.
