Review on Restaurant Villa Cipriani
Hotel Villa Cipriani and its equally famous restaurant is located just an hour's drive from Venice on the hills of Asolo, with panoramic views of the Alps and the surrounding countryside. This traditional Palladian-style building was originally owned by the renowned English poet Robert Browning, but it was his son who was to settle here permanently, when he inherited the Villa on the death of his father. Hotel Villa Cipriani was opened on the 17th February, 1962 after an extensive refurbishment programme.
The elegant restaurant and veranda looks out onto the flower-filled garden and the wonderful views of the nearby hills and meadows. The menu follows the seasons offering a combination of regional specialties of typical Venetian fare such as risotto asolana style, together with Mediterranean dishes. The speciality of the day depends on what fresh produce is available at the local market, while the freshest seafood is sourced from the market at Chioggia. Restaurant Cipriani offers diners a timeless charm in a tranquil setting with flawless service.
