Set in the attractive village of Walton-on-the-Hill, Spaghetti Tree has a bright, contemporary look and a menu of fresh and simple Italian cooking that has made it a local favourite and ideal for celebrations. The white-walled interior with its leafy views over Walton Pond and Walton Heath feels chic and cosmopolitan, and buzzes throughout the day with a chatty neighbourhood crowd.

A traditional and well-executed menu features pizzas, pastas and risotto dishes plus house specials and a hearty Latin-based wine list. The Spaghetti Tree restaurants have a history dating back to 1985 when the first restaurant was opened in Sutton. It is a small family-run business and the philosophy behind the restaurants is that everything is best when kept simple, traditional, fresh and affordable.

    Family meal out

    After visiting this restaurant on a number of occasions and recommending it to others I wasn't impressed this evening. We booked a table for 7pm using the online booking for a family meal to celebrate our sons 9th Birthday . We had a call in the afternoon asking if we would mind arriving early. We agreed and arrived in time for pre dinner drinks in the bar only to be told our booking was for 6:15 (it wasn't according the online confirmation) and that we'd need to vacate the table by 8:30. So we ended up sitting down straight away. Then they tried to move our table before apologising. The food was fabulous as always but this experience has deterred me from coming again . Other than an apology and a candle in our 9 year olds ice cream that was it - no thanks for being so accommodating. We were out by 8:10 and I will think twice about returning again - they spoilt the evening.

    outstanding

    i am not too sure what the previous review was about however i cannot fault this restaurant. Absolutely superb food & service. Had the scallops to starts and seafood pasta for main. all fresh and tasty!

    my new fav italian!

    Awful

    Had a lovely night until I asked waitress about lattes we had returned just warmed up but returned to wrong people.
    Got very angry with me for telling her about this.
