The Zur Sonne restaurant, is the second oldest of the existing restaurants in Winterthur, and can be found in a quiet part of the pedestrian area in the old town. All dishes are cooked to old traditional recipes and the menu offers a selection of quality Swiss cuisine, together with their popular rösti, which comes in 24 different types. The menu follows the seasons, products are sourced locally and the kitchen is committed to promoting sustainability, ensuring that all ingredients used are of the finest quality. There is a good value wine list with a focus on Europe as well as several offerings by the glass. During the summer months you can dine al fresco on Zur Sonne's terrace.
