Review on Number Twenty Four
Set in a delightful Grade II listed building in the historic market town of Wymondham, ‘New English cuisine with international influences’ is served to guests in a personal and homely manner in this fine dining venue.
The exterior of the building is more reminiscent of a home frontage than a restaurant and if it weren't for the sign above the window you could easily walk straight past.
The main restaurant is very warm and sunny - light mustard walls, white table linen, and soft yellow napkins all complimented with modern lighting and contrasting dark oak furniture.
The food is cooked fresh to order and is expertly prepared by the chef and owner Jonathon Griffin who dishes up a real treat for both the eyes and the palate. The fixed price dinner menu is excellent value at £28.50 for 3 courses while lunch featuring seared rib of beef or sea bass weighs in at an amazing £19.95 for 3 courses.
