Le Gitan is a very popular restaurant on the ground floor of Hotel Darioli in the centre of Zermatt. The rustic style restaurant is very cosy with an open fireplace, with flickering candles on wooden tables. The kitchen serves a wide selection of Swiss and regional specialities including grilled meat and fish. The hotel also has the Zermatterstübli, where you can pop in for either a drink or a bite to eat, enjoying dishes such as cheese fondue or Bratwurst with rösti or spaghetti.
