The Alden Restaurant is located in Zurich's smallest and most intimate five star boutique Hotel, The Alden Hotel Splügenschloss in the financial district. This historical listed building dates back to 1895 and was completely refurbished in 2004, restoring it's original splendour alongside the comforts of the modern world. The dining room is elegant with its stunning period ceiling and sparkling chandelier, and is a popular dining destination for both hotel guests and locals.

Heading the kitchen is Roland Höhmann, whose cuisine combines traditional elements with contemporary innovation for a seasonal Mediterranean menu. The Alden offers a selection of fine wine to complement the food and service is helpful and friendly. In fine weather you can dine on the terrace under the large white parasols and enjoy the superb view of the Stadtpalais.
