Review on Atelier Restaurant at Hilton Watford
The Atelier Restaurant is located within the Hilton Watford Hotel, a short drive from the M1 motorway and 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport. Smart interiors set the mood, dark wood panelling is adorned with photographs, stylish chairs and booth-style seating are arranged next to simply laid wooden tables and large picture windows at one end of the restaurant look out over the green.
A French-accented menu is prepared by the kitchen making excellent use of carefully sourced regional ingredients. Guests can enjoy a pre-starter of baked camembert while they peruse the menu offering dishes such as a classic French onion soup, or an asparagus and goats cheese tart. Main courses take in grilled sea bass with tarragon, beurre blanc or maybe pork belly with dauphinoise potatoes, braised red cabbage and a cider jus. Finish with a traditional crème caramel or the espresso and chocolate ice cream combo. There's an extensive wine list to complement the food and the bar area is ideal for a pre or post dinner cocktail.
