Review on Rosso's Italian Restaurant
Formerly Primo Ristorante an established Italian restaurant that opened in 2008, it was taken over in 2017 by a new team and became Rosso's Italian Restaurant. Located in Leeds' West End, it's just a short walk from Leeds Rail Station. The restaurant is light and airy with floor to ceiling windows and has been designed with a modern and contemporary décor. Bar stools are set around the large bar or there's well spaced tables for relaxing dining, together with banquette seating in cosy alcoves.
The kitchen sources quality ingredients from Yorkshire farmers and Scottish fishermen as well as imported specialities for its a la carte dining, and light and tasty bar snacks. The extensive menu showcases crowd-pleasing Italian dishes from pasta to pizzas, as well as meat dishes like Spezzatino di vitello, veal stew cooked in red wine, tomato sauce, onion and paprika served with crushed potatoes or from the sea Gamberoni e Capesante, fresh king scallops and king prawns.
The wine list focuses on Italian wine together with classic cocktails and Italian beers.
