Review on Tom's Kitchen - HMS Belfast

Tom Aikens, the youngest British chef to be awarded two Michelin stars has followed his expansion of Tom's Kitchen in Chelsea, Somerset House, Canary Wharf and St Katherine Dock with a fifth branch on the popular London attraction, HMS Belfast. Moored on the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, it has spectacular views of The Shard and the Tower of London. Designed in a contemporary style, it has a rooftop bar to take in the views, open from noon until late, as well as a 45 seat deli which is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Tom works closely with British suppliers ensuring the finest of ingredients for his all day bar menu, featuring nibbles such as smoked almonds and giant salted corn. There's also seasonal sharing platters, From the Farm, Bayonne ham, smoked duck, susansec salami, Bresaola, cornichons, grape chutney and pickles or fish fans will enjoy From the Sea, smoked mackerel pate, hand-picked crab, beetroot cured salmon, anchovy, cornichons and grape chutney, all served with a selection of artisan breads

The bar has a good selection of wine, signature cocktails with a nautical theme, craft beers, fresh juices and lemonades.
