Review on Little Bird
Opened in June 2016, Little Bird is a delightful cocktail bar serving small grazing dishes situated on Burlington Parade, opposite Chiswick overground station in Grove Park. It's the brainchild of restaurateur Lorraine Angliss, who already operates the successful Annie's restaurants in Barnes and Chiswick, as well as Rock & Rose in Richmond. The chic Kew Gardens-inspired décor has been created by Lorraine featuring plush low seating with a conservatory and outdoor terrace.
The menu showcases Asian and European-inspired tapas dishes using locally sourced ingredients along the lines of teriyaki salmon fillet and lime; crispy soft shell crab or from the land there's sticky BBQ baby back pork ribs or marinated chicken skewers served with coriander mayo. For a sweet finale enjoy Morello cherry and dark chocolate profiteroles or coconut pannacotta and pineapple salsa.
Adam Bozsoki, Rock & Rose mixologist has created signature cocktails to accompany the dishes using fresh fruits, flowers and herbs.
