Chez Camille, champagne bar and restaurant is tucked away in a back street on the edge of La Lonja in Palma, opposite the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and just minutes from the sea. Occupying the premises that formerly housed McGowan's Irish pub, the interiors have been stylishly renovated. In addition to the main part of the restaurant with the bar, there are two further rooms as well as a lounge and bar area upstairs. Why not dine in the atmospheric stone room with its lovely stone walls and arches, wooden tables are simply laid and set against contemporary high-backed leather chairs.

The kitchen showcases tapas style dishes cooked on the Kamado grill which caramelises the outside of the meat while retaining the succulent juices within. Typical options available include gorgonzola, garlic prawns and padron pepper, as well as skewers of ox meat,. chicken and pulled pork. They also offer specialities in Iberian ham, fresh oysters, delicious black angus burger, roasted Picanton and their signature entrecote de Paris. To finish enjoy chocolate coulant with vanilla ice cream or the strawberry tiramisu.

Backing up the food is an excellent wine list as well as some good value champagne, all available by the bottle or glass.
