Review on Coast by East
Coast by East restaurant occupies an enviable spot overlooking the exclusive Port Adriano marina, designed by Philippe Starck in south-western Mallorca. Just twenty minutes drive from Palma, between Portals Nous and Andratx, it's a great place for people watching with the marina full of expensive super yachts. The huge covered terrace has smart furnishings on wooden decking, with the added advantage of a pool with loungers and day beds, so make sure you take your swimsuits.
The kitchen looks to fusion food making excellent use of the robata grill for meat, fish and seafood dishes as well as an excellent selection of sushi, sashimi, flying nigiri and maki rolls. Other options worth considering are kimchi udon noodles dish with pumpkin, cashew nuts, and wild asparagus and amongst the main courses veal cutlet and mushrooms with pak choi or black cod and miso. To accompany the food there's an extensive wine list, cocktails and sake.
The upper floor is home to the Sasibar Wine bar serving drinks and snacks and during the summer season there's a nightclub with DJ's.
