Review on Gaudi Restaurant at Hotel Sant Salvador
Gaudí is the showpiece restaurant set in the Hotel Sant Salvador, a strikingly designed boutique hotel located in the beautiful medieval town of Artŕ in the northeast of Mallorca. Situated in a tranquil position, just five minutes walk to the centre of the village, close to the majestic fortified Sant Salvador church, the restaurant takes it's name from the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, who was responsible for the emblematic courtyard facade. During summer months guests can also dine in their lovely romantic garden filled with lush Mediterranean plants.
The kitchen looks to modern Spanish cuisine along the lines of beef carpacchio with green pistachios and parmesan or if you prefer fish, opt for the salad of red tuna with wasabi and avocado mousse. When it comes to main courses there's dishes such as presa of Iberian pork with ham, polenta, pimientos de padrón and white wine sauce or succulent octopus cooked in a sous vide bath with black risotto, parsley sauce and lemon.
