Review on Baiben
Baiben occupies a prime location in the celebrity hotspot of Puerto Portals in the former premises that once housed the famous Tristian restaurant. The concept is the brainchild of Fernando Pérez Arellano, who holds two Michelin stars for his restaurant set in the Castell Son Claret hotel in the countryside of Es Capdellŕ.
A beautifully sculptured restaurant with an impressive central horseshoe shaped bar where master cocktail maker Rafa Martín, owner of the famous BrassClub in Palma has created an impressive cocktail list. The best seats in the house are on the terrace with the jaw-dropping views of the fabulously expensive yachts in Mallorca's most prestigious marina. Enjoy dishes along the lines of six Gillardeau oysters with three dressings before a main course of roast Mediterranean sea bass with chermoulah, served for two or for meat fanciers there's roast shoulder of lamb with Arabic spices paired with Lebanese dips and pita bread.
The wine list is a majestic 700-bin tome knowledgeably garnered from all corners of the world.
