Review on Ca’s Patro March Restaurant
Ca's Patro March Restaurant shot to fame in 2016 after a scene from the hit TV series The Night Manager, based on book by John Le Carré was filmed here. The restaurant is in a glorious position, off the beaten track above the beautiful blue waters and massive rocks of Cala Deià. You can either arrive by boat and climb the steps to the restaurant, or its a five minute walk from the parking at Cala Deià, or a thirty minute stroll from the village of Deiá. This rustic seasonal restaurant has simple furnishings shielded by the glare of the sun by thatched roofing, boasting stunning views across the cove out to the sea.
Ultra-fresh seafood is the name of the game, and fish arrives daily from the local fishermen. There are a few meat choices for carnivores but it's the seafood that's the main attraction here. A popular choice is their fantastic mixed seafood platters, parillada de pescado y mariscos consisting of sea bass, sole, prawns, sardines, squid and swordfish. To finish there's juicy fresh melon, ice cream or who could resist the homemade apple tart.
